Prescriby App Privacy Policy

Introduction

Nordverse Medical Solutions ehf. reserves the right to and may change this Privacy Policy from time to time.

Your continued use of the Prescriby App (hereinafter referred to as the App) after the effective date of an updated version of the Privacy Policy will indicate your acceptance of the Privacy Policy as modified. In some cases, you may have to explicitly accept changes to Privacy Policy to continue using the App. We encourage you to periodically review our Website and the App for the latest information on our data privacy practices. If you do not accept the terms of the Privacy Policy, we ask that you do not use the App.

What information do we collect?

Nordverse Medical Solutions ehf. collects personal data that the user provides such as: name, email, phone number, social security number.

By using the App the user may choose to provide information about their health. Below are examples of the categories of information that will be collected from the user through using the App.

  • Drug adherence
  • Symptom registration
  • Questionnaire results
  • App usage

    • Technical information:

    Information about the mobile device itself: type of your device, type of operating system and its version, model and manufacturer, screen size, screen density, orientation, audio volume and battery, device memory usage.

    Information about the internet connection: mobile carrier, network provider, network type, IP address, timestamp and duration of sessions, speed.

    Location-related information: IP address, the country code/ region/ state/ city associated with your SIM card or your device, language setting, time zone.

    Why and how we process your information

    We use your personal information for the purpose of giving you the best possible personalized service. That includes sending you reminders to take your medication, showing you your own history, giving you encouragement based on your input and so on.

    For any other purpose we use anonymized information to proccess and store your information.

    Your rights

    The General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) applies to all citizens of the EU. Below is a short overview of the most commonly-used rights laid out by GDPR.

  • Data Subject Access Request – With some exceptions designed to protect the rights of others you have the right to a copy of the personal data that we hold about you as well as information about what we do with it, who we share it with and how long we will hold it for.
  • The Right of Erasure (‘Right to be Forgotten’) – the right to have your personal information erased where we have no reason to continue processing.
  • Data Portability – the right to move, copy or transfer personal information you have provided to us.
  • Rights in relation to automated decision making which has a legal effect or otherwise significantly affects you. If we have made a wholly automated decision (i.e with no human judgment at all) you have the right to request that someone views that decision
  • Right to Rectification – You have the right to have the personal data we hold about you corrected if it is factually inaccurate. It is important to understand that this right does not extend to matters of opinion, such as medical diagnoses. If any of your personal data has changed, especially contact information such as: email address and phone number please get in touch with us so we can ensure your personal data is kept up to date.
  • Right to withdraw consent – You have the right to withdraw your consent at any time.


    • If you want to exercise your rights in respect of your personal data, the best way to do so is to contact us by email on app@nordverse.com. We will respond to your request within 30 days.

    Security

    All data is stored securely on Amazon Web Services (Privacy Policy). AWS has certification for compliance with ISO/IEC 27001:2013.

    You can help keep your information secure by choosing and protecting your password appropriately, not sharing your password and preventing others from using your mobile device.

    Our goal is to protect your Personal Information to ensure that it is kept confidential. However the nature of the Internet is such that no secury system is 100% secure, we cannot guarantee or warrant the security of information you transmit to us via the Internet.

    Your Use of the App

    You are only allowed to install the App on a mobile device you own or is in your control. If you loan, sell or allow others to use a device that you have installed the App on you must logout from the App. If changes have been made to the mobile device that compromises the device’s security, for example by installing unsafe applications, you are no longer permitted use the App because it’s not safe to do so.

    If you suspect that someone has gained access to your account you must immediately report it by contacting us.

    Children’s Privacy

    The App is not intended for children under the age of 13. Therefore, we do not knowingly collect or solicit any personal information from children under 13. No one under age 13 may provide any personal information to the App. If you are under 13, do not use or provide any information on this App or through any of its features.
